With flexible options available, we can offer one-off workshops, themed miniseries or our full Chakradance Kids program to suit your class needs and desired learning outcomes.
How It Works
To express your interest in bringing the magic of Chakradance Kids into your classroom or centre, simply book a time in my calendar for a 15min obligation-free phone call to discuss how we can help you.
From there, the process looks something like this:
- We have a call and discuss your vision for your classroom and what workshop/program would best suit your needs, as well as potential participant numbers, funding options and delivery schedule
- I put together a proposal to submit to either yourself or the Centre Manager/Principal for approval
- Once approved, I provide consent forms and an information pack to be emailed to parents
- When enrolments and payment have been finalised, your class schedule is confirmed
- 15mins before our scheduled start time each week, I will arrive and help you clear a space for the class (if not done already) and set up all the class materials
- Watch your classroom transform into a magical realm of exploration, imagination and play!
What We Provide
We know educators are under increasing levels of pressure trying to provide the very best education and care for our little ones and literally the last thing you need on your busy plate is more paperwork! That’s why we’ve made the process as seamless and hands-off for you as possible by taking care of all the admin, including:
For Parents:
- consent forms
- information/enrolment packs for parents
- funding request and payment forms (if parents are needing to partially/fully fund the program)
- weekly parent newsletter explaining what was covered in class and how to support their child at home
- feedback forms
For Students:
In addition to taking home their own unique piece of artwork capturing the magic of the class each week, every child will also receive a special gift and a printed colouring activity with supporting affirmation to integrate the class lesson.
Other Inclusions:
When it comes to delivering your program, we also supply all class materials, including yoga mats/spot markers, cushions, music speaker and all craft materials (clipboards, paper and crayons/pencils). All we need is space to set up!
Not only this, the first 9 lesson Chakradance Kids program called “The Magic Story Tree” can also be easily integrated into daily activities, whilst offering educators full content and themes for an entire year!
Weekly Themes
Week by week, children meet magical new characters as they immerse into each realm, learning invaluable emotional and social skills along the way!
The program will explore nine key childhood developmental themes:
Week 1: “I am connected” – tuning into our bodies and understanding personal space
Week 2: “I am safe” – body autonomy and learning to trust our instincts
Week 3: “I am calm” – healthy emotional expression and tools for self-regulation
Week 4: “I am brave” – confidence, being brave and trying new things
Week 5: “I am loved” – learning to share and having compassion for self and others
Week 6: “I am important” – self-expression and knowing our voice matters
Week 7: “I am powerful” – accessing intuition and imagination
Week 8: “I am grounded” – tools for managing overstimulation and sensory overwhelm
Week 9: “I am worthy” – integrating the program and celebrating at Nixie The Dragon’s Rainbow Party!
Class Structure
Classes run for 30-45 minutes once a week for a 9 week term and follow the same format each week, supporting children to become familiar with the lesson structure so they can move further into their own experiences.
This structure includes:
- opening circle
- Magic Bubble energy exercise
- story time introducing the week’s theme
- movement and kiddie yoga
- dance
- creative artwork
- breath awareness and mindfulness
- sharing circle
Learning Goals and Outcomes
The Chakradance Kids program is a play-based social and emotional learning program (SEL) and has core learning outcomes that meet the needs of kindergarten aged children. These outcomes include developing motor skills, fostering creativity, enhancing social skills, promoting mindfulness, nurturing a sense of community, encouraging empathy and understanding, cultivating a love for learning and fostering a positive self-image.
The activities within the program are designed to engage children in a holistic way, providing them with a safe space to explore their emotions, express themselves freely, and develop a deeper connection to themselves and the world around them. By incorporating elements of movement, art, and mindfulness, children are encouraged to embrace their unique qualities and celebrate their individuality.
Overall, our programs and workshops aim to empower children to navigate life with confidence, resilience, and a deep sense of self-worth and awareness. We provide a nurturing and engaging journey of self-discovery and growth, where each child is valued, supported and encouraged to shine brightly in their own way.
Funding
In Australia, Chakradance Kids has mostly been partially funded by schools/centres. When partial funding occurs, families are asked for a set fee towards the program, via a letter directly from the school – don’t worry, we provide this letter for you to email to parents 🙂 The same also applies if parents are asked to fully fund the program.
For example:
9 week course = $99.00 per child.
Families fund $49.00 per child.
School/Centre funds the remaining $50.00 per child.

Schools and centres may also choose to fully fund the course, depending on their own allocations.
